I love sailing, diving and exploring the oceans and I want other people to discover the creatures and marine life underwater as well, as well as learn how to protect the marine environment the best we can.
I found it difficult to find information for sailors who want to dive directly from a boat. Accessing to the sites is not always easy, anchor can’t be dropped just anywhere, mooring balls are not always available. There are few extra factors you’ll need to consider for your own and your dive buddy’s safety when diving from the boat and this applies to preparation for the dive on the surface, equipment, planning, local fees and restrictions, navigation on the surface and underwater, and getting back to the boat in different conditions. I wanted to put information together based on my own experiences when sailing and diving the world. I hope you’ll find this helpful when sailing into your next diving destination.
